What are the parallels between Kanye West and James Brown? George Bush and Mao Tse Tung? The World Trade Organization Protests and Watts Race Riots? For five weeks examine pop culture through the lens of Andy Warhol's autobiography, The Philosophy of Andy Warhol (From A to B and Back Again). During the workshop, amass a collection of images, sound, and video with the Revolutionary Party, a collective of artist activists who combine sound, video mixing, and interactive performance in live settings. At the end of the workshop, participate in a multimedia battle, an event where opponents perform in an alternating format in response to one another.
